We couldn't let the occasion go by without a celebratory show could we! With some very kind Sponsors we got some beautiful Coronation themed rosettes which went down very well with all the competitors at the showjumping. Held at the wonderful Colraine Equestrian Center by kind permission of Michael and Corin Gadson.
Today was our first event as a qualifying organisation for The sunshine tour Hickstead, everyone was very excited as they competed for those top 3 placing meaning they will be eligible for the championships in September held at the prestigious Hicksted show ground.

Our first class started at 40cm and was open to lead rein and assisted combinations. We ;like to hold this class as it's a fantastic introduction to showjumping and taking in the show atmosphere for young/nervous horses or riders. Today we saw some really promising partnerships in the intro class. The qualifying places were split into Senior and Junior placings and were as follows:
Qualified Seniors...
Viki Gough riding Daphnee
Cat Scutt riding Buddy
Julia Drummond-Dunn riding Dolly
Qualified Juniors...
Eleanor Giles riding Woody
Sophia Thirkill riding Sitting Squaw

The course designed and built by the wonderful Clive Philips was inviting and flowing making a good day for all riders. Our aim is always to put on a welcoming day for riders and horses. Here is a run down of the qualified riders for the rest of the classes.

Kate was thrilled on Sunday she rode a fantastic round in the 80cm with a double clear. Her day was topped off when she found out she had won! This is Mary Gee's first show back after kissing spine surgery so meant alot to Kate to be enjoying her horse again!
Well done Kate what a smile!!
